Zep has been a leader in auxiliary chemicals for both civil and industrial maintenance since 1937. Their products cover multiple sectors, including; Industry, institutional, food and beverage, water treatment, transportation and automotive, building and construction, professional cleaning and maintenance and paper, safety and equipment.
Their range of over 1,000 premium products are filled into 20 different bottle times, ranging from 100ml to 5L.
The Challenge
Zep were previously using three very old filling machines which Operations Manager Mike Goodwin described as being 鈥減ast their useful life鈥. These machines weren鈥檛 able to provide the required production capacity or the consistency in performance, due to regular breakdowns which were holding Zep back in their projected growth plans.
The Solution
Adelphi Masterfil are pleased to have supplied two solutions to resolve Zep鈥檚 requirements; a S1000-A fully automatic 8 head filling machine, and a S5000-A fully automatic 8 head filling machine 鈥 both of which were supplied with Mastercap automatic indexing cappers.
Reduced Waste & Increased Throughput
Adelphi Masterfil鈥檚 range of fully automatic filling machines include many features designed to reduce waste for customers such as Zep. High precision, exceptional filling accuracy of聽卤 0.2% reduces waste of Zep鈥檚 products, whilst 鈥楴o container, No fill鈥 sensors reduce waste of the containers.
Quick-release nozzles enable tool-less changeovers in seconds, between different containers and products.
